I bought a 4410 wth loader and backhoe 200 hours only sight unseen. What should I be looking for when I check it out to give the final payment? It is still under warranty but may have been abused or something that wouldn't be covered under warrenty, run out of oil, etc. ie no antifreeze and engine froze, etc Thanks, rich

Take a good close look at the fluids. Engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and coolant. The oils should be clear and show no signs of metal flakes. If the color is off, or looks burnt, you may want to do some maintenance research, and ask some questions about how the tractor was used. Look at the filters and make sure they are not factory originals. Get receipts or some evidence of proper maintenance.
A good look at the fluids will give you a good idea of how the machine was maintained and how hard it was run. ....
